Patrick Wolf Suomeen helmikuussa!

Kuulin pari päivää sitten ihanan uutisen: Patrick Wolf konsertoi akustisesti Helsingin Savoy-teatterissa helmikuun 22. päivä osana Sundark and Riverlight - kiertuettaan. Lipunmyynti alkoi tänään, joten Junella ja minulla on tietenkin liput jo kuvainnollisesti takataskussa. Viime kuussa julkaistun herran 10-vuotista taiteilijanuraa juhlistavan akustisen tupla-albumin 16 kappaletta ovat kaikki ihania, mutta yllättäen kaikkein suurimmaksi suosikikseni nousi u-pe-a Vulture. Patrick-Wolf-TV tarjoilee myös livenä kuvattua materiaalia Teignmouth -biisin muodossa. Niin kaunista.

I heard a great bit of news a couple of days ago: Patrick Wolf is coming to Finland to play an acoustic gig at the Savoy theatre in February as a part of his "Sundark and Riverlight" -tour! June and I already have our tickets of course. All the songs in Patrick Wolf's new acoustic album (a musical biography in celebration of his 10 year anniversary, featuring 16 re-arranged and re-recorded songs) are lovely but unexpectedly "Vulture" is the one that I love the most. It's just amazing. Patrick-Wolf-TV also offers live footage in the form a song called "Teignmouth". So, so beautiful.
