Zebra and Snake

Zebra and Snake on kahden helsinkiläisen miehen new wave/healing -produktio, joka kuulostaa törkeän hyvältä. Koko vuosi 2011 on ollut enemmän tai vähemmän täynnä chillaamista ja kenkiintuijottelua, mutta uudet raikkaat aktit ovat aina tervetulleita. Facebookista kopioitu teksti kertonee kaiken olennaisen:

One day two guys, Tapio and Matti, felt really gray. Healing was what they needed! They sat down by the organ and in a second the music started to stream out of their fingers and mouths. Like little rapids forming a beautiful, fertile river! It was magical, it was as if they had found their power animals. Letting go of their complete emotional and existential frustration they opened themselves to the unexplainable and started the healing process of song. And the more they played the more they were healed. But the process is ever-continuing. You see, life is a process, my friend. The power animals, The Zebra and The Snake!!!

Bändi on ollut kasassa jo muutaman vuoden, mutta sai vastikään levytyssopimuksen. Aiemmin julkaistujen, lähinnä yksittäisten biisien jatkoksi saanemme siis odotella kokonaista albumia - toivottavasti hyvinkin pian. Pörinä ja biitit vetoavat nimittäin ainakin meikäläiseen.

Zebra and Snake is a band formed by two guys wanting to heal themselves (in a form of some preppy new wave). Although this year is already filled up with chilling and shoegazing, new fresh artists are always welcome. The band recently got a record deal, so I'm really looking forward to a whole album! The buzz and beats already sound incredibly mesmerizing.
