Radical Face - We're On Our Way

Tässä teille mahtava uusi video Radical Facelta biisiin We're On Our Way. Videon on kuvannut Michael Walter ja sen on editoinut Ben Cooper (aka Radical Face). Ben ystävineen järjestää pari kertaa vuodessa teemabileitä, ja kyseinen video onkin kuvattu viimeisimmistä teemabileistä. Teemana oli pukeutua aristokraateiksi, pysyä roolissa koko päivän pelaten erilaisia pelejä ympäri kaupunkia ja päättää päivä ruokasotaan. Mahtavaa! Tahdon teemabileisiin nyt, heti!

Here's a great new video by Radical Face for the song "We're On Our Way". It's shot by Michael Walter and edited by Ben Cooper (aka Radical Face).  Ben and his friends have themed parties a couple of times a year and this time a video was done of it. The theme was dressing as lords and ladies, staying in character all day and doing various games around the city and ending it all in a food fight. Awesome! I wanna go to a themed party right now!

Tuntuu, että minulta menee etenkin musiikin saralla puolet ohi. Huomasin sattumalta viime viikolla, että  indie folkin ihmemies Radical Face eli Ben Cooper on julkaissut uuden albumin tänä vuonna ja EP:n viime vuonna. Uusi albumi on albumitrilogian The Family Tree ensimmäinen osa The Roots, ja se kuulostaa aivan mahtavalta. Mistä näitä hemmetin hienoja albumeja oikein riittää?! Fiktiivisen Northcotes nimisen suvun tarinaa seuraava trilogia jatkuu julkaisuilla The Branches ja The Relatives, joita odotan jo innolla. Viime vuonna Radical Face julkaisi Touch The Sky nimisen EP:n, joka toimi ikään kuin siltana edellisen, vuonna 2007 julkaistun Ghost-levyn, ja uuden The Family Tree -trilogian välillä. The Family Tree -trilogiaan kuuluu myös kolme ilmaista EP:tä, joista ensimmäinen The Bastards: Volume One on ladattavissa ilmaiseksi tästä:

Yllä Touch The Sky EP:ltä biisi, johon rakastuin heti, ja siihen kuvattu ihana video!

Virallinen video The Roots -levyn ensimmäiseen singleen A Pound of Flesh.

Alla kolme suosikkiani uudelta levyltä. Oli vain ihan pakko jakaa nekin.

Black Eyes

Ghost Towns

Severus and Stone

I feel that I miss half of things in music these days. I just noticed by accident that Radical Face (Ben Cooper) has released a new album this year and an EP last year. The new album is the first in a trilogy of albums called "The Family Tree". This first one  titled "The Roots" sounds amazing! I'm really looking forward to the next two: "The Branches" and "The Relatives". The Family Tree follows the tale of a fictional family called the Northcotes through it's generations. Last year Radical Face released an EP called "Touch The Sky" that sort of bridged the gap between the new trilogy and his previous album "Ghost" that was released in 2007. With The Family Tree -trilogy comes also three free EP's and you can download the first one "The Bastards: Volume One" above. Above are also two videos: the first is for my favorite song of the "Touch The Sky" EP and the latter the first single from the new album. And I just had to embedd three of my favorite tracks from the new album (Black Eyes, Ghost Towns, Severus and Stone).
