Vitamin B = Placebo

Placebo jos mikä piristää syksyisen harmauden keskellä. Bändiltä on tulossa lokakuussa EP nimeltään B3, ja nimikkobiisiä kuultiin jo kesän keikoillakin. Säkeistö muistuttaa aavistuksen verran liikaa Special Needsiä, mutta kertsi onneksi räjähtää sitten omiin uomiinsa.

Ja tänään lumelääkettä livenä jäähallilla, NAM!

Placebo, if something, cheers you up amongst the autumn greyness. The band is putting out an EP called B3 in October, and the title song was already heard on gigs this summer. I think the verse reminds me a bit too much of Special Needs, but luckily the chorus breaks up the relapse and rocks on with a heat.

And today's portion of vitamin B can be experienced with a live set at the Helsinki ice hall, YUM!

Disco Ensemble - Second Soul

Muutaman vuoden tauko Disco Ensemblen kuuntelusta on tehnyt tehtävänsä ja uusi sinkku Second Soul maistuu taas (livenä bändi toki vakuutti viime kesänäkin, kuten aina). Aiempaa popimmat elementit sopivat ainakin meikäläisen pirtaan. Biisille on nyt videokin eetterissä!

After a few years' break from listening to Disco Ensemble has done its trick. The new single Second Soul sounds good! Yes, it's a bit more pop than the band's previous work, but me likes. And now there's a video out for it, too.

Atoms For Peace - Default

Thom Yorke + muutama muu = Atoms For Peace. Ja uusi sinkku Default. Var så god.

Thom Yorke + a couple of others = Atoms For Peace. Here's the new single Default. You're welcome.

Lapko @ Tavastia (record release)

Eniveis. Täs ois niit kuvii. Ja tääl ois lisää.

Yhtälailla rokkimeininkiä löytyi sateisesta Ruissalostakin, kun bändi joutui pitämään tunnelmaa yllä kaatosateessa. Ja onnistui siinä loistavasti. Mutta rokkeiluja sitten myöhemmin!

Inspired by yesterday's tune I decided to finally get those Lapko gig pictures out from the closet. It really has been a while since the actual record release gig, a-hem... Anyways, I'm glad to say songs from the new album are uncrushable (since I didn't like A New Bohemia that much, apart from a few tracks)! Lapko rocked at Ruisrock, too, but we'll come to that later. Here are pics from Tavastia, some more here.

Lapko - White Dog in Tokyo

Julkaisematon biisi ΓΟΛΕn äänityssessioista on ehkä yksi parhaista Lapkotus-ryminöistä ikinä. Olen sanaton. AH. ♥

This new Lapko track is from the ΓΟΛΕ recording session,s but is previously unreleased. And it's one of the best songs from the band ever. I'm speechless. ♥
