Alessi's Ark - Afraid of Everyone (The National cover)

Cover-linjalla jatketaan. Alessi's Arkin cover The Nationalin biisistä Afraid of Everyone kuulostaa aina vain paremmalta jokaisen kuuntelukerrn jälkeen! Biisi löytyy neidon tuoreelta albumilta The Still Life. Biisin voi kuunnella tuosta alta 47 minuutin kohdalta.

Alessi's Ark's cover of The National's "Afraid of Everyone" just gets better and better after each listen! It's on her new album "The Still Life". You can listen to it above, the track starts at 47 min.

The Staves - In the Morning (Keaton Henson cover feat. Keaton Henson)

The Staves covering Keaton Henson's "In the Morning", featuring Keaton himself. Yes, yes, yes!

Video time!

Muutama musiikkivideo perjantain kunniaksi!

Kotimaisen All Will Be Quietin uusi video ei visuaaliselta ilmeeltään ole kenties se kaikkein piristävin, mutta biisi sen sijaan on juuri sitä. Big Wave Ridersin Move On on yksi lemppareistani bändiltä, joten siihen tehty livevideo on sekin ehdottomasti plussaa. Lana Del Rey, saatika tuo kihlatun kanssa coveroitu kappale, tuskin sen sijaan enempää esittelyjä kaipaa.

Some new music videos to make this Friday a bit sunnier! Finnish All Will Be Quiet and Big Wave Riders both fit my ear drums like missing pieces of a puzzle. There's also no doubt about my love towards Lana Del Rey - I assume this cover song she recorded with her fiancé needs no introducing.

Pikku Kukka - Jos ei sua täällä olisi

Olen aina kokenut Pikku Kukka -yhtyeen aavistuksen liian ultrabramaiseksi, jotta se olisi jäänyt pysyvään kuunteluun paria hajabiisiä lukuun ottamatta. No, tulevan kolmannen levyn ensimmäinen single on sitten taas yksi niistä hajabiiseistä. Raikkaan keväistä soundia Aino Vennan ohjaaman videon kera.

p.s. Alice julkaisi aiemmin tänään kevätsoittiksenkin, omani tulossa myös lähiaikoina!

I'm not the biggest fan of Pikku Kukka, but their first single from the upcoming third album sounds so much like spring that you just have to like it.
