Living Room Songs

Ólafur Arnalds loi vähän aikaa sitten seitsemän kappaletta seitsemässä päivässä, samantyyppisesti kuin vuonna 2009 Found Songs -julkaisun kanssa. Nämä seitsemän uutta kappaletta kulkevat nimellä Living Room Songs, sillä ne kaikki nauhoitettiin ja kuvattiin livenä Ólafurin Reykjavíkin asunnon olohuoneessa.  Jälleen sydäntäsärkevän kaunista, kyyneleiltä ja vilunväristyksiltä ei voi välttyä. Ólafur saa vangittua surun kappaleisiinsa taianomaisella tavalla. Kaikki seitsemän videota voi katsoa ja mp3-versiot niistä ladata ilmaiseksi täältä. Tänään kappaleista on myös julkaistu cd ja cd/dvd-versiot. Alla muutama kappaleista videoineen.

Ólafur Arnalds recently created seven new songs in the course of a week much like he did before with "Found Songs" (2009). These seven songs were recorded and filmed live in the living room of his Reykjavík apartment and are called "Living Room Songs". Again, absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful. You can't listen to these without getting goose bumps all over your skin and tears running down your face, or at least I can't. Ólafur has a way of capturing sadness in his songs in a magical way. All seven videos can be seen and mp3's of them downloaded here  for free. Today high quality cd and cd/dvd -versions of them were also released. Above are a few of the songs with their videos.
